Cranbrook, BC – On behalf of its customers and staff, Dunlop Truck Centres and Rocky Mountain Collision (a div. of New West Truck Centres) is proud to announce a donation of $15,000 to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s (EKFH) Starlight Campaign. This donation marks a continued legacy of community support and commitment to healthcare improvements in the East Kootenay Interior Health Region.
The Starlight Campaign, an annual initiative running from November 1st to December 31st, plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare improvements across the East Kootenay region. This year, the campaign focuses on the Warm Embrace Campaign, aiming to raise $1.8 million for a Tier 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital. The new NICU will be a game-changer for families, providing advanced care for premature newborns and keeping families closer to home during critical times.
Greg Stahl, Owner & CEO of New West Truck Centres, expressed his enthusiasm for the cause, stating, “Since our acquisition of Freightliner of Cranbrook and more recently, Dunlop Truck Centres, a Western Star dealership, our commitment to the communities we serve remains steadfast. This donation to the Starlight Campaign is not just a contribution but a testament to our company’s belief in giving back and making a difference where it matters most. We are honoured to carry on the tradition of community support established by Dunlop Truck Centres and look forward to making a lasting impact together.”
New West Truck Centres’ donation will directly support this vital initiative, underscoring the company’s commitment to the well-being and health of the community. As the EKFH strives to bridge the gap in government funding for healthcare needs, contributions from community partners are invaluable.
